Using LLM to Synthesize Scriptures

The inception and popularity of Large Language Models since (2022-till now) has changed the way we look at the world. With Gen AI – ie the use of Large Models to generate content, ideas and media so many things can be quickly done when it comes to content generation. In this blog post, we will explore how to use LLMs to synthesize a new form of religious scripture. The main aim is to explore how much religious content are in the neural networks of large language models

Target Models

Since there are a plethora of large language models we will only pick some of them. We will start with GOLDCA.

However to make it more unique and controlled we will use the same set of prompts across the various large language models.

  • Gpt 3 – OpenAI
  • Llama 3
  • Sonar Pro – Perplexity AI
  • Deepseek R1 – Deepseek
  • Gemini

For our control prompt we will use the same unstructured prompt in two unknown (to me) LLM using lmarena.ai

Let us see in full the generated accounts

Model A

Below is a creative, original scripture that weaves together the ancient songs of many traditions—the Bible, the Quran, the Hindu Vedas, modern New Age insights, and the ever-evolving revelations of science—into a unified narrative of creation. In crafting this text, every line seeks to honor the mystery, wonder, and unity of all beginnings.

The Book of the Eternal Confluence

Prologue: The Luminous Mystery

  1. In the Beginning, the Infinite Pulse:
In the unmanifest vastness before time, there was only the Endless One—a boundless, ineffable Source known by many names. From the Heart of Infinity, a singular rhythm echoed: Om, Alhamdulillah, and Let There Be Light.
  2. The Cosmic Breath:
This sacred Breath, the Word before words, exhaled stillness and possibility. It was the seed from which all life, matter, and energy would arise—a pulse of love and wonder that both science and spirit have always sought to describe.

Chapter I: The Unfolding of the Infinite

  1. The Divine Utterance:
    And the Source spoke: “Be!”
In that moment, the ancient silence shattered into shimmering pulses of creation—vibrations that set the cosmos into motion. Galaxies whirled as cosmic dust gathered in splendor, each swirling nebula resonating with the hymn of existence.
  2. The Great Expansion:
The cosmic egg burst forth in a radiant explosion—an event that modern minds call the Big Bang; an awe-inspiring phenomenon that unfolded the tapestry of space-time. Stars ignited, and with the light came the revelation that all matter is interwoven in the fabric of an eternal, unfolding mystery.
  3. Celestial Harmony and Sacred Order:
In the swirling dance of creation, opposing energies merged in divine balance: the wisdom of the Vedas singing of Rta—cosmic order—laid beside the Biblical declaration of light emerging from darkness and the Qur’anic proclamation of all life blossoming by the will of the Most Merciful. Each tradition was an echo of that same truth.

Chapter II: The Manifestation of Life and Consciousness

  1. The Emergence of Time and Space:
As space unfurled and time began its ceaseless march, matter—from the delicate atoms born of stardust to the brilliant arrays of living galaxies—found its place in this harmonious symphony. Science observed the laws of physics at play, while the ancients saw these laws as the handiwork of a Divine Artisan.
  2. The Spark of Consciousness:
Through countless ages, life emerged in myriad forms—a spark of divine consciousness emerging from the cosmic breath. The Earth, a jewel of blue and green, became a sacred cradle where evolution and spirit danced together, each creature a verse in the eternal hymn of being.
  3. The Inner Light and Cosmic Unity:
Each soul carries a fragment of the Infinite. As the mystics of old attested, and as modern seekers proclaim, the light within every heart is a mirror of the cosmic radiance. When one awakens to that inner truth—whether through meditation, revelation, or scientific wonder—the observer reconnects with the primal song that echoes through every star and cell.

Chapter III: The Interweaving of Mysteries and Revelation

  1. Multiple Pathways, One Ultimate Truth:
The scriptures of varied traditions, though clothed in different symbols and metaphors, converge upon the same eternal mystery: that creation is an act of love, a perpetual unfolding of beauty and complexity. The Quran’s verses, the Psalms of the Bible, the mantras of the Vedas, and the insights of New Age wisdom all proclaim that we are part of the same cosmic tapestry—a dance of energy authored by a loving, limitless Source.
  2. Science and Spirit in Dialogue:
The discoveries of modern science, from quantum fields to the evolution of galaxies, are not separate from ancient wisdom but are contemporary signposts pointing toward a divine order. Every measured law is a verse in the grand poem of creation; every revelation in a laboratory or in a moment of silent insight is a reminder that the universe is alive with sacred intelligence.
  3. The Call to Reverence and Unity:
In every heartbeat, in every starlit night, the call is clear: honor the unity of all things. Whether we seek knowledge in ancient texts or in the patterns of nature, we are invited to recognize our shared origin and destiny—a journey back to the luminous Source whence all emerged.

Epilogue: The Ever-Unfolding Dance

  1. A Dynamic Creation:
The creation is not a finished story but a living, breathing reality—a perpetual symphony of becoming. The Divine continues to write new verses in the language of evolution, love, and exploration. With each moment, the Infinite Source reveals itself anew, and every being is called upon to participate in the sacred act of creation.
  2. The Journey Home:
May all who read these words remember that their lives are part of a grand, interconnected narrative. Just as the ancient hymns, the prophecies, and the scientific discoveries point to one fundamental mystery, so too does the heart know that every soul is returning home—to the endless, radiant embrace of the One.

Thus is the story of all beginnings—a scripture composed of many voices, all singing the same timeless truth: in the dance of light and shadow, in the interplay of spirit and matter, life itself is a wondrous mystery, eternal and ever-renewing.

Model B

Here’s a synthesized creation scripture that attempts to weave together various cosmological and creation narratives:

The Unified Genesis

Before the Beginning

In the infinite void of potential, there was neither darkness nor light, neither matter nor energy. The primordial consciousness existed – formless, boundless, and pregnant with infinite possibility.

The First Breath

From the quantum vacuum, a vibration emerged – the first sound, the primordial Om. In Hindu tradition, this was Brahman stirring; in scientific understanding, this was the quantum fluctuation that preceded the Big Bang. The divine breath exhaled, and from stillness came movement.

The Great Expansion

“Be!” said the divine voice – كُن (Kun!) in the Quranic revelation. And instantly, space-time unfurled like a cosmic scroll. Hydrogen and helium danced their first atomic ballet, stars ignited in celestial furnaces, galaxies spiraled into magnificent forms.

The Emergence of Consciousness

Stardust coalesced, forming planets. On one blue-green world, complex molecules began their intricate choreography. Amino acids linked, proteins folded, cells divided. Life – that miraculous bridge between matter and spirit – emerged from the cosmic crucible.

The Awakening

In the Biblical account, a divine breath animated clay. In evolutionary science, neural networks complexified. Consciousness arose – first as simple awareness, then as self-reflection, ultimately as cosmic understanding.

The Eternal Cycle

Each ending is a beginning. Each death, a rebirth. The universe breathes – expanding, contracting, reimagining itself through endless iterations of creation and dissolution.

We are not separate from this process, but its very embodiment – star-born, quantum-entangled, divine consciousness experiencing itself through infinite forms.

Amen. Om. Inshallah. Blessed Be.

Note: This text is a creative synthesis and should be understood as a poetic interpretation, not a definitive theological or scientific statement.

You can see from the above results that the models are pretty good in generating this type of content.

Let us try it with another prompt.

On the next generation we also saw the Model A generating a well scripture looking like structure.

As you can see from above, one model Model A – GPT O3-mini provides a bible looking response whiles the Model B – Claude 3-5 Haiku provides a concise amalgamation of all the ideas across the religious content.

So in short, to generate a new sythentic form of scripture, we will have to explicitly prompt the LLM to follow the format of ancient text.

We will continue with this research in the upcoming blog post.

Happy LLMing
